Off My Block hosted the first annual Back to School Event on August 23, 2016 at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Washington DC. Over 75 inner city children were provided with backpacks filled with school supplies for the upcoming school year. The Off My Block members and volunteers created a lively and enjoyable environment for the children while providing them with services, such as nail painting for the girls and hair cuts for the boys.
